The feed dogs might be lowered, or the stitch length might be set to zero, or the presser foot tension might be very
Check the feed dog lever first. It is at the back near the free arm. If it is ok, test the feed dogs by setting the stitch length to maximum on straight stitch, then, with the presser foot raised and no material or top thread in the machine rotate the hand wheel towards you and watch the feed dogs. They should move up, then towards you then down then back in cycles. If they don't move, and the feed dogs are not lowered, something is broken

Are you sure that it is not just a bulb replacement, does your manual tell you it is the board? Why not call Euro-pro and ask first because you are talking a lot of money as opposed to $3-$4.? Their phone number is 1-800-798-7395. Good luck, it seems like a nice machine.

Hi All
Up Date on shark no steam no light.
The fuse that controls the steam is a thermal fuse, 192c ,10 am 250 volt.
Now that may sound strange to some one who dose not know fuses, but Radio Shack carries them and there $3 bucks!
If there is a handy person you know, they should have no problem replacing the fuse. I just fixed ours in about 30 min. but I work on electronics. If the Shark gets to hot this fuse will blow to prevent overload or fire so don't put bigger fuse in it!!
FYI you have to take All the screw out and open up the unit fuse is burried look for yellow clear film (thats the color mine was), the film is wrapping the fuse. Good luck

Well first off, I would not recommend using any time of steam mop on unsealed or natural wood floors. They will damage them because of the heat and moisture. If your wood is sealed then it would be okay for short amounts of time. meaning not keeping it in one position on a section of your floor for a long period of time.
Steam mops are not meant to Shine floors. They are meant to sanitize and disinfect. yes they do clean as well but if your floor is shiny after use then there is to much water coming out and not enough steam.
