turn off at wall
check the internals of the printer are clear
unplug and plug back into computer
then restart printer
if the printer is working properly
clear printer que
do a test print

if no better
uninstall and reload the printer drivers and any updates on the computer

Possible solution:

1. Turn the printer off, and then turn the printer on.
2. Check and reseat the fuser and toner cartridge to make sure they are not hindering gear movement in the drive train.
3. Check the main motor's cable to ensure that it is seated properly.
4. If the error persists, replace the main motor.

Try a different toner cartridge, likely a defective cartridge

Search "HP LaserJet pro m1536 troubleshooting". I did and got plenty of hits including " support.hp.com/us".

Try opening the back flap in rear of printer, to see if it prints straight out. If it does your focus would be on your exit / delivery assembly. Paper might be hidden in that exit area.

Yellow toner is getting low, or check to make sure your print driver is set correctly for this printer.

Initialization error is usually related to the communication connection. Make sure that the connection is solid. Might want to unplug the cable from the back of the printer and then turn the printer on, comes to ready ? If so the cable or connection might be bad.

The 52 error in most HP printers is not reversible, you must replace the scanner if the is cost worthy.Might want to unplug printer from the power source for 30 minutes and retry, before changing the scanner unit.
