-You can't hack more water but you can replace the water level sensor
-Sound like the water level sensor is malfunction. How about replace it to find out what happened. You can buy from Amazon
or online. Make sure provide your model number and must match your old one before order.

i don't know. it seems there is no cold water available. it may be the washing machine's cold water solenoid needs replacing or the wire has come off the connector. if you wish, can buy a ' y ' connector and run both through the hot water hose to have warm water only.
there may be a 'twist' in the cold hose. also, make sure the cold water tap is on. most supply hoses have a small screen filter in the hose. sometimes they become blocked.
you can shut off the water taps and unhook both hoses to clean these screens. old hoses may weaken so if replacing, consider flexible metal hoses.

Pry the top lid off the agitator.
Remove the plastic shield inside.
Use a 7/16 socket and extension to remove the bolt.
Pull the agitator off the shaft.
