it is also possible that the leak came from the pump as well most likely your lines are also clogged up with fine ground coffee past the brewer which stops the water from flowing and causes excess pressure which eventually either busts a water line or makes the pump push the water out past the caseing of the machine. Very time consuming finding the leak as well as replaceing the parts that are broken. If you have any further questions message me back. Thanks
p.s just curious because i ask all customers dealing with coffee and expressor machines what was the grind set to when you ground your coffee?

Yes. I would like that plunger. Our top lid knob also came off. Right now, tho', it is the rubber on the plunger that is failing. Don't think we can fix that.

This is quite common for those machines. Try to not open it completely and push the pod in, until it stops falling any further. then close the lid and you should feel some back pressure while doing so. If not, then plrease bring the machine back to the retailer.

I got my machine for Christmas and I have had the same problem almost everyday. Usually wiping down the water supply area worked but not today.. I have spent the past hour and a half trying everything I read online. Finally after reading the gray thing that floats in the water tank was a magnet I decided to maybe try to "reactivate" the magnent/sensor?.? I dumped all the water out and rubbed the magnet up and down the outside of the water tank making the gray block move up and down.. I even rubbed the magnent on the black surface where the water tank goes and the gray thing-e touches when attached.. To my surprise It worked!! It may have been pure coincidence..I dont know..but I figured I'd share anyway..It's worth a try!

Good luck as they dont make them anymore, you can maybe get one on EBAy for big bucks, I found one at my thrift store before christmas for $15.00 and almost died, and it is new...awesome!

I just had the same problem. It's the knob itself. You have to extract the knob by pulling, gently, and squeezing it out. The plastic housing over the metal thing is cracked. I took some super glue and duct tape and wound it tightly around it and pushed it back it and it works.

don't think that starbucks would be sending coffee to any one in a war zone simply because the coffee would be cold before it got there
But if you still really want to know then contact the head office ans ask them yourself

Starbucks Refuses Marines -
Starbucks wrote back telling the Marines thanks for their support in their business, but that they don't support the War and anyone in it and that they won't send them the Coffee. So as not to offend them we should not support in buying any Starbucks products. As a War vet and writing to you patriots I feel we should get this ...

I did a wrong thing that needs to be cleared up. I heard by word of mouth about how Starbucks said they didn't support the war and all. I was having enough of that kind of talk and didn't do my research properly like I should have. This is not true.
