I have a uniden detc 6.0 system and it works with NBN
however you have to have the base unit connected directly into the modem and the land line connected into a different port in the modem
call your service provider and get a diagram of connecting items to the NBN modem

Reasonable price depends on the person buying something. When I have purchased replacement batteries for a cordless phone I have gone to Radio Shack or Best Buy. Now depending on the age of the phone, you might be better off buying a new phone rather then replacing the battery, because some of the batteries can run almost as much as a new phone.

If you look on the back of the unit, it should have in small print, the access IP address, the admin name and admin password. If you have changed it in the past, then reset it back to the default. Typically netgear use, admin name of admin, and the password is either password or netgear1. Older units may use 1234. The only exceptions are newer extenders that ask you to put in a password when you set it up, in which can you will need to reset it to the defaults and do a new setup.

turn off the nbn modem and turn it back on and wait five minutes for it to sync with nbn and try calling your phone number .
may need to turn of power to nbn equipment as well and turn back on again but try the modem unit first.

menu option--T-coil
what it does--reduce noise on hearing aids equipped with a telecoil (T_Coil) feature. It shortens talk time, so keep the battery fully charged

Hello, Shelly -

Unless you like to keep your cordless phone unit with you at all times at home or at work so that you do not need to rush to pick it up and answer when calls come through, I suggest you return the cordless phone to the charging base when you are done speaking.

These are my reasons why I believe returning the cordless phone to the charging base when done using it is a good idea:

* Unless you carry the phone unit with you at home or at work, when a call comes in you know where to find the unit without having to follow the sound to find the phone unit.

* There will be no chance that the cordless phone battery runs out of "juice" in mid-conversation.

* You will be assured that the battery is not drained whenever you wish to make a call.

Best wishes.
